Forum moderation and discussion management
The TECA forum aims to facilitate discussion and to encourage online communities to network and exchange news, views and information. It allows users to offer and receive assistance and advice while enjoying lively technical debate with other professionals.
How it works:
1. Users formulate and post topics for discussion
2. All Users receive a copy of the posts in their email
3. All Users are permitted and encouraged to participate in the discussion forum
4. Once accepted, unless removed at the discretion of the TECA Team, posted messages will remain available to the public for as long as the relevant discussion board is online.
Note: Users are kindly requested to ensure that messages are very clear and directly relevant to the topic.
The TECA team reserves the right, at its discretion, to:
1. Deny a User access to the platform, without specific notice.
2. Edit or withhold messages that do not comply with the forum guidelines.
Users shall not do any of the following:
1. Use foul language or obscene images. This site is a forum for technical discussion, and general attacks on a person or idea will not be tolerated.
2. Repeatedly post the same message to multiple discussions or boards, or post an unsolicited commercial message to one or more discussions or boards. Such messages are considered spam. Duplicate messages will be deleted or consolidated by the TECA moderators.
3. Conduct surveys using the TECA platform.
4. Post personal or commercial advertisements on the TECA platform.
5. Post copyrighted material without authorization or otherwise illegal material. Users are requested to notify the TECA team if they identify such postings on the TECA platform.
6. Abuse the forum in any way not specifically mentioned above.
