Free online course on Assessing the Impact of Development Programmes on Food Security

We would like to inform our members involved in food security projects and programmes of the free online course on "Assessing Impact of Development Programmes on Food Security“

The E-learning course provides a comprehensive yet readily accessible source of guidance for assessing impact of projects and programmes on food security. It was produced by FAO in collaboration with the Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation.

This interactive self-paced course consists of 11 lessons of 45 to 90 minutes each, for a total duration of 10 hours.  The course aims at providing learners with knowledge on the concepts, methods and approaches of assessing impact of large scale food security programmes.  In order to support this, the course uses the latest instructional methods in e-learning such as storytelling, illustrative case studies, and examples, as well as interactive tests and practice exercises.
